Degrees and Certifications:
October was a very busy and productive month! Below are a few of our most recent highlights:
Our McTeacher night fundraiser was a huge success. Many students and families joined in the fun and the teachers had a great time serving their students dinner! We are looking forward to using our fundraised money for our media center and other celebration events for the students.
Mrs. Guinan and Mr. Nazarok held the first Lunch with the Principal! Students were selected from each homeroom for showing the character trait of trustworthiness. Congratulations to all of those who earned the reward. Next month the focus will be on Respect!
Miss Donna from the Ocean County Library held an assembly for each grade level. She shared all the fun and exciting events that are happening at the library. All students are encouraged to get a library card so they can check out books.
Our Scholastic book fair will begin on November 15th. We are in need of parent and community volunteers. If you are interested, please call the George J. Mitchell School to sign up.
Have a wonderful November!
Mrs. Deniese Guinan
