Season's Greetings Osprey Families!

It is hard to believe that it is already December and 2022 is coming to an end.  December is another busy month at the George Mitchell School.  Many exciting events are happening!

The PTO Holiday Shop is being held from November 28th - December 2nd.  Thank you to the PTO for organizing this event for our students, and a big thank you to all our parent volunteers.  Without your help, we would not be able to provide these opportunities for our students!

On December 6th, our students will participate in a school-wide assembly called "Kindness Quest". The students will participate in a 45 minute interactive laser adventure that explores community and friendship.

December 7th - 9th will be help days for students since we are holding parent-teacher conferences.  Please make every effort to meet with your student's teacher to discuss your student's progress.

Classroom parties will be held the week before winter break begins.  Be sure to look for more information from your child's teacher.  In addition, our 1st grade students will perform a winter concert on 12/21 at 9:30.  December 23rd will be an early dismissal for all students as we begin our winter break.  School resumes on January 3rd.

Have a safe and happy holiday season.  We are grateful for the opportunity to teach your child and share their educational journey.

Amy L. Nass
