Teaching  is an absolute passion of mine!  I am so excited to work with your child.  It is going to be a year of fun, learning, and lots of adventures.  I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.  I thought you’d like to know a little about me.

I am married to my husband, Mike.  We have 2 sons, Tommy is starting his junior year at Stockton University, and Ryan is a Senior at Pinelands.  The boys have a furry brother named Henry.  He is our rambunctious, lovable Boxer.  My boys take up most of my free time, between school and sports.  In any spare time I like to play with Henry, relax at the beach, and exercise.

I have lived in Little Egg Harbor for almost 17 years.  We moved here from Bergen County in 2006.  Most of my family also lives in town now too.  My sister, step brother, and mom have all moved to LEH, so we have lots of family BBQs and get togethers.

I taught Kindergarten at GJM for 8 years, 1st grade for 2 years, and this is my 1st year as a Basic Skills teacher.  I stayed home with my boys for a few years and before that I taught 2nd and 4th grade in Bergen County.  I recently became a Certified Orton Gillingham Teacher and plan to use what I've learned in my new teaching position with my small groups.  They say, “Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning”.   It is my mission to instill a love of learning in my students.    Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
