STEAM is a combination of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics subject areas. These areas are combined and taught all at the same time in order to provide opportunities for students to use these skills to solve real world problems.
In the STEAM curriculum we work with three units that include computer science, engineering design, and project based learning. These units represent a move for students that they saw in earlier grades, toward the more abstract concepts that they are building on.
