• Hi! My name is Irelynn Byrnes, and I am a new hire at George J. Michell Elementary. I am so excited to be a part of the Osprey family and an addition to the amazing 2nd grade team!

    A little bit about me: 

    • I graduated from Rowan University where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Inclusive Elementary Education.
    • Once I graduated, I received three certifications: Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6, Students with Disabilities, and English as a Second Language.
    • I was a paraprofessional during the ESY program when I was a college student.
    • During the summer of 2022, I was a K-2 teacher during the ESY program.
    • I student taught in a Kindergarten in-class support classroom at George J. Mitchell.
    • I grew up in Little Egg Harbor.
