This Years Class: Remember There is Only ONE You!!!!
It is NOT How Smart YOU are, But, How Are YOU Smart?
I am successful because of you.
Check out all of the resources available to all.
Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful break. Report cards have been available since Dec. 18 on Oncourseconnect. This second trimester should be easier for your child, we will be building on already taught skills and learning new skills that should be easy to grasp. Transition into 4th grade is tough but I believe most students are adjusting. I want you to be reminded that homework is not always assigned. If class work is not completed, then they must complete at home. I do ask that you have your child practice their basic facts daily to help them progress with the needed 4th-grade skills. Most math assessments are completed on Think Central website, your child has the sign-in. You can see all the grades of assignments completed. In Science, we are currently using a new program, Amplify and are learning to become Scientists through an investigative approach.
If you could keep in mind the season we are in, I would appreciate it if you could send in boxes of tissues for the class.
I am looking forward to a great year.
Ms. C. Baker
Math: Make sure your child is practicing the basic facts for multiplication as they should know them entering 4th grade.
Do not forget to save your Box Tops for education, they help cover some of the expenses for classroom supplies.
