The Columbian Exchange was the sharing of both positive and negative things. It was named after Christopher Columbus. This refers to the New World, the Old World and Africa.

The Native Americans gave us corn.

Europe sent textiles to Africa.  A sad part was the slavery.

Another sad part was the diseases brought over by the colonists. Many Native Americans died.

The wheel  from Europe gave us the plow and this made work easier. In conclusion, the Columbian Exchange definitely changed the world.
