    Did you know....

Did you know that a New Zealand insect called the weta actually freezes solid each night? The weta is a flightless cricket that lives in very high altitudes. In the evening, when the temperature drops, the insect will freeze, but as daylight comes and temperatures rise, the weta thaws and goes back to its normal activities.
